SPEED NET 4.1.1 UP-GRADATION INSTRCTIONS - ISSUES AND SOLUTION

Speed Net 4.1.1 Update Issues

Speed Net 4.1.1 automated Updation is not successful in most of the Offices having Update Speed Net 4.1. Manual Speed Net 4.1.1 Up-gradation also having problem in Some offices.

Before Update SpeedNet 4.1.1

1. Check whether Speed Net 4.1 Upgraded.(Speed Net, Speed Net Communication)
2. Close the Running Speed Net Module and Speed Net Communication Application.
3. Delete DB Scripts and SpeedNet  Client Folder inside the SpeedNet Folder.

Instruction To Upgrade:

1. Take Database Backup of POSPCC,POSPCCBACKUP and ROUTING.
2. Speed Net One Updater is enough if SpeedNet 4.1 is already installed.
3. Select Speed Net Folder to Upgrade the Database.
4. After Update Open the SpeedNet Module once and then execute the Communication to Status update.

Issues

After update Speed Net 4.1.1 Its shows an error message your database not upgraded even we have already done Speed Net 4.1 Updation. If we try to upgrade once again using SpeedNet One Updater it shows an message Old version of Speed Net detected.

Solution

1. You just Ignore the above message if you are already Upgraded to Speed Net 4.1.
2. Exit the Speed Net Module and Communication in local and network.
3. Upgrade the Same Once again using Speed Net One Updater 4.1.1.
